“ When I saw that people were lining up before 8am on a Wednesday morning I could tell that Howdy Bagel was the real deal. Even though there was a line out the door, service was pretty quick. I ordered the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese sandwich with the rosemary sea salt bagel, and added scallion cream cheese, easily one of the best bagels sandwiches I have ever had. I enjoyed the welcoming ambiance of the shop, and I appreciate that they sell a variety of quality merchandise, and goods. I'm excited to try more of their menu next time I am in the area. ”
“ Oh my gosh! Their bagels are so good! We arrived around noon on a Saturday and the line was down the street. Luckily, we were back in the area a little later and the line was much shorter. I didn't get a chance to try a bagel sandwich, but that's on my list. Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere is nice. ”
“ I was on site to come away getting my oil changed at the Subaru place and so I went for a walk to find some food. I saw the sign in the small building that looked old on the outside, but when I went inside, it was nice and modernized. It's a small place but cozy and busy. I had a 16 ounce double shot mocha and it was fantastic. I also had a rosemary and sea salt bagel fresh out of the oven and it was amazing. I ate it straight with no cream cheese or anything and it's one of the best bagels I've ever had. I'll be back for sure. ”
“ Really amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches. We had the grit and the special which was a bacon egg cheese with their homemade pesto. The grit sandwich was so well balanced with savory smoked salmon and well pickled onions and tasty cucumbers. Our favorite was the speciality which had two eggs in it and was such a savory delight. The bagel itself was crispy and light which served as a perfect vehicle for the well flavored toppings. Will definitely be back!! ”

“ You know a place is good when there is a line out the door and this is one of the places. Got the avo boast and it was packed. Grit city lox which has the smoked salmon and the bacon egg and cheese is another favorite. They also sell merch and local items they used for the bagel which is cool. Supporting other companies as well. Price was reasonable for the massive bagel and service is always great there. ”

We got the cheese and egg, cheese bacon and egg and the salmon one. 100% will be coming back. They also have pickled stuff for sale that looked really good. I can't stop thinking about it. “ Food was good! Service was good. Everyone is friendly and kind. Ambience is noisy and busy. We wanted to have relaxed brunch for early valentines but there weren't many seatings. Someone came and asked for our seat as we are finishing eating, felt invasive :( we don't live close. Wish we could do take out. Coffee was great too! ”

“ New O B S S E S S I O N. Another newish spot that lived up to the hype. Way to go Tacoma! At first impression, I thought ok, this is cute decor and a cutesy menu nothing more. When I got my Lox in a Box I was blown away at 1) how pretty it looked (they care!) and 2) The value was there. That first bite was so worth the price! It was so good I went back 2 days later and tried the Bacon Egg and Cheddar- added cucumbers and spicy jam. That was a HOT MESS of goodness! They legit stuffed at least 3 thick slices of bacon in there. This is a bagel shop so yes yes yes the Bagels are so good. So tasty by themselves. Can't wait to try all the cream cheese spreads. Also make sure to check out the little section with cute merch too. Eat at Radnor's next door and take some bagels home for later. These are 2 must try eateries in Tacoma. Don't walk, R U N. ”
